Shipping, Returns, and Policies

FREE SHIPPING

At Unique Baby Gifts, we include Free Shipping on every item, every day, across Canada. Best of all, we don't make you jump through hoops in order to qualify. In fact, our free 6-10 business day shipping applies to every item in the store. No minimum purchase is required and no promo codes are necessary. 

If desired, upgraded 3-5 business day shipping is available for a flat fee of 9.95.

CANCELLATIONS

Because most of our products are made to order, there is a 30 minute cancellation period from the time you place your order. Cancellation requests should be sent to support@uniqubabygifts.com and must include the order number. 

ORDER ERRORS

Errors that are our fault will be corrected as quickly as possible and, of course, without charge. Errors that are made by the customer including, but not limited to, personalization misspellings, address errors, address omissions, etc., are the sole responsibility of the customer and, depending on the issue, may incur an additional cost to the customer. 

COMMUNICATION

In order to remedy any order questions or problems, we must have accurate customer contact information. Should we need to reach you about your order, we require a reply within 24 hours from the time we contact you to avoid order problems. We cannot be responsible for delays, cancellations, or other errors that result from a lack of customer response or incorrect contact information provided by you.

SHIPPING

We use a variety of shippers, including Fed Ex, UPS, Purolator, and Canada Post.  Shipping time varies, depending upon distance, weather, holidays, etc. To avoid re-delivery and re-routing fees, please provide accurate shipping address information, including street, apartment or suite number, city, province, and postal code.

Damages Made in Transit - Should you receive a product that has been damaged in-transit, please contact us immediately. Most shippers will require proof of damage, so please retain all packaging and take pictures for documentation purposes. We will file a claim with the carrier for you. Contact us by email at support@uiquebabygifts.com and include your order number, shipment tracking number, and photos of the damages.

Packages that Are Lost or Stolen - It is our policy to submit claims for lost or stolen packages. Refunds are solely based on the carrier's decision after they provide proof of delivery. 

RETURNS
Your Satisfaction Is Guaranteed! We at Unique Baby Gifts want happy customers. Our return policy follows:

Returns for Defective Merchandise - Customers may exchange or return a defective item within 30 days of receipt. We will pay for the return shipping. All items returned under this policy are eligible for either replacement or a refund. For a refund, the purchase price paid will be credited to the same form of payment used in the original purchase. 

Returns for Other Reasons - Customers may exchange or return an unwanted item within 30 days of receipt, except for reasons listed below. We ask that the product be returned unused and in original condition. Customer will be responsible for shipping costs.

We are unable to accept:

* Items that have been used or laundered

* Diaper Cakes that have been disassembled

* Partial order returns Personalized items are not returnable unless the item was incorrectly personalized due to our error.

* Other items that are non-returnable and non-refundable include edible, cosmetic and personal care items.

Returning a Gift - If you need to get authorization to return a gift you received, please ask the person who purchased the gift to call us with their order number and credit card information so we can issue a refund on their credit card, subject to our return policies.

Return Authorization Needed - All returns, for whatever reason, must have an RA (Return Authorization) number. You can request an RA number by calling Toll Free: 1-866-476-0213 or emailing support@uiquebabygifts.com.
